Food Safety and RSA Qualifications Have Changed
02/12/2008 - 9:03 am
As a result of a review of the national Tourism and Hospitality training package which is now titled SIT07. There changes have been made to the unit codes as well as to the training and assessment requirements. CFT International has been approved to deliver these new hospitality units codes Australia-wide through a number of training methods - face-to-face classes, distance learning and online training. The new nationally recognized codes are as follows:SITXOHS002A – Follow Workplace Hygiene Procedures (replaces THHGHS01B)SITXFSA001A – Implement Food Safety Procedures (replaces THHBCC11B)
SITHFAB009A – Provide Responsible Service of Alcohol (replaces THHBFB09B)
Although the old codes have not been invalidated, CFT is finding that more and more people are requiring the new codes to make sure that their qualifications are as up-to-date as possible.
