CFT In-Class Training
If you prefer doing your training face-to-face, then the public access classes would be best for you.
These classes provide the opportunity for interaction with other students and with a qualified trainer. It allows you to ask questions and have an immediate answer. It also provides you with the opportunity to receive further explanations of anything in the learning or assessment materials.
Public access classes are available in many locations, so check our class location listing for dates and times.
How You Will Be Assessed
Whether you train online, in class or by correspondence, the assessment process is designed to meet the requirements of the nationally recognised units.
For food safety, you will have a set of assessment tasks, which include industry-based case studies, short answer questions and a demonstration of practical skills which needs to be observed in a work, or simulated workplace environment. The observation needs to be done face-to-face by a third-party observer who either has a food safety qualification OR experience in food preparation.
For RSA, all assessments occur online, and include case studies and questions.
