This course is designed people in businesses that manufacture or pack foods. E.g. flour mills, canneries, dried food packers, bakers, breweries and wineries.

Training is available in class or by correspondence. Group discounts available.

Students receive a Nationally Recognised Statement of Attainment upon completion of the course.

Assessment : 

You will have a set of assessment tasks, which include industry-based case studies, short answer questions and a demonstration of practical skills which needs to be observed in a work, or simulated workplace. These skills need to be observed by a third party who either has a food safety qualification OR experience in food preparation.

Employers sometimes prefer their staff to be trained in a group so the training can be customised to their particular workplace.  The value of the in-house classes is that they can be held on a date and time of your convenience.  You also save your staff the need to travel to receive their training.
