General Information
Personal hygiene practices apply to all personnel operating at all levels within the service industries, such as kitchen hands, cooks, chefs, catering staff, food and beverage attendants, housekeeping and laundry staff, sandwich hands, café and fast food outlet cooking crew, and sales people and owner-operators of small business catering operations or retail food outlets.

Students receive a Nationally Recognised Statement of Attainment on the successful completion of the course.
Assessment : You will have a set of assessment tasks, which include industry-based case studies, short answer questions and a demonstration of practical skills which needs to be observed in a work, or simulated workplace. These skills need to be observed by a third party who either has a food safety qualification OR experience in food preparation.
